Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Marji, provided by Marji Inc. By creating an account you agree to them. If you're agreeing on behalf of a restaurant or company, you confirm you have authority to do so.

The service

Marji reads supplier invoices and menus, calculates dish-level costs and margins, and produces pricing recommendations. Recommendations are decision support, not financial advice — you decide what to apply. You're responsible for your menu prices and for verifying data before acting on it.

Trials & billing

• Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. No card is required to begin.
• After the trial, plans bill monthly per location via Stripe until you cancel. Prices are shown at checkout.
• You can cancel anytime from billing settings; access continues through the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
• If a payment fails, we may downgrade or suspend the account after notice.

Your data & content

You keep ownership of everything you upload — menus, recipes, invoices, prices. You grant Marji the license needed to process it and provide the service (including via the AI and OCR processors named in our Privacy Policy). We don't sell it or share it with other restaurants or your suppliers.

Acceptable use

• Don't upload data you don't have the right to use.
• Don't attempt to breach security, scrape, or overload the service.
• Don't resell or white-label the service without a written agreement.

POS & third-party integrations

When you connect a POS (e.g. Square) or other integration, you authorize Marji to read and, where you approve it, write price changes on your behalf. Those services have their own terms, and their availability is outside our control.

Availability

We work to keep Marji available and accurate but provide it “as is,” without warranties. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses; our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Termination

You can stop using Marji and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practical.

Changes

We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and notify account holders of material changes. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
